Welcome to the
Salmonid Enhancement Program (SEP)

Students Releasing Salmon Fry in Tranquille RiverThe Salmonid Enhancement program for schools involves students from Grades K to 12 throughout British Columbia.

Students raise salmon eggs in classroom aquariums, and then transport and release the fry in nearby streams.

The program is a project of Fisheries and Oceans Canada Habitat & Enhancement Branch.
